A small family operation, obsessed with one thing:
Heat, done right.

Get Cayenne is a small, family-run business. We've been crafting herbal preparations and tinctures since 2008, and between us we hold master's degrees in Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture. For years, we formulated traditional Chinese herbal medicine — complex blends, carefully balanced and prepared by hand.

Over time, we made a deliberate choice to narrow our focus and pour that same craft into one thing we believe in deeply. We wanted to take a single, remarkable pepper, make the most potent and honest tincture we possibly could, and get it into as many hands as possible. That's Get Cayenne.

Why cayenne

Cayenne is one of the most widely used spices on earth — a staple in kitchens and cuisines on every continent, from the Americas to West Africa to South and East Asia. It's everywhere for a reason: few ingredients bring heat with the same clean, bright character.

It also holds a special place in the herbal traditions we trained in. Across folk and classical herbalism, cayenne is regarded as a quintessential warming, or "fire," herb — acrid, hot, and yang in nature. That lineage of potent fire herbs runs especially deep in Chinese medicine — most famously in the Sichuan Fire Spirit School (Huoshen Pai), a tradition that prized powerful warming botanicals and the craft of sourcing them genuinely and well. That reverence for authentic, potent, carefully sourced herbs is exactly the spirit we bring to cayenne.

How we make it

We make Get Cayenne in small batches, here in America, and we don't cut corners:

  • 300,000+ SHU — a seriously high-potency tincture, not a watered-down novelty.
  • Peppers grown without synthetic pesticides or herbicides.
  • High-quality, food-grade alcohol — and we're moving toward a fully organic alcohol supply.
  • No fillers, no additives — just concentrated cayenne and clean alcohol.

Every bottle reflects the same standard we held formulating in a clinic: make it genuine, make it potent, make it clean.
